Heathers is dark comedy bubblegum about a witty teenager, her homicidal high-schooler friend, and a clique of popular girls (each named Heather) that gives everyone grief. Think Mean Girls only better, earlier, and with 100% more Christian Slater. It’s probably about 23 years too late for spoilers, but I’m not dropping any here just in case. 

I’m giving Heathers Five Stars not because I looooove it, but because there’s nothing at all wrong with it. As a genre movie, it’s flawless. It is the shining example of everything a cliquey high school comedy can be.

Netflix it.
